The success of Girlan-Bey's daughters at the Swedish National Championships makes headline news in the world of Polish arabian horse enthusiasts.
2011-08-26 DOUBLE CHAMPIONS AT SWEDISH NATIONALS
What a fantastic weekend! Two lovely Girlan-Bey daughters participated at the Swedish National Championships 2011 in Strängnäs last weekend - and brought home two Champion titles.
The very exotic and extremely well-moving OKS EMPORIA reached second place in the yearling filly class and was later Swedish National Bronze Champion Filly!
OKS BENTOZA did even better, starting off by winning the class for two year old fillies. This amazingly beautiful, elegant filly then went on to repeat her success from last year, and now became double Swedish National Silver Champion Filly. This time she just barely missed the Gold, with two out of four votes for Gold Champion...
A third OKS-bred horse participated in the show - OKS Bimaal, by LM Limaal out of OKS Bitcha, owned by Victoria Palmaer - and was given the special award for Best Swedish Bred Stallion. The results of these three gave us, the Kristoffersen family, second place in the run for the Best Swedish Breeder award.

2011-07-07 Best Swedish Bred Female to Girlan-Bey daughter - again
At the Scandinavian Open Championships last weekend, OKS BENTOZA was runner-up in the large and deep calss of two year old fillies, and also claimed the special award for the Best Swedish Bred Mare/Filly.
This is the second year in a row that this honour has been bestowed upon a GIRLAN-BEY daughter - in 2010, this award was given to none other than OKS Bentoza's full sister, OKS BENCYLINA, now owned by Broby Arabstuteri.
